Securing your woofers has never been easier!

No more struggling to screw or hammer in stakes. No more tying ropes and cables to tow bars, wheels, and awnings. No more chewing through leads and ropes and finding your woofer has gone visiting around the campsite or aire.

It only takes minutes to set up and make your companions safe and secure.

How to set up the FidoGuard

A step by step guide prepared by Willow, our junior customer service agent.

1. Getting ready

Remove the FidoGuard from its storage bag and select the most appropriate wheel to install it under. Remember to always check for any damage and for functionality of the Tie Out fasteners.

2. Positioning

Place the FidoGuard on the ground either just in front (if you will be driving forward) or just behind (if you will be reversing) the selected wheel.

3. Securing

Let go of the FidoGuard and drive over the FidoGuard forwards or back, ensuring that the tyre covers the full width of the FidoGuard Traction Pad. This normally only requires 150mm-200mm (6-8 inches) of movement.

4. Tethering

Uncoil a FidoGuard Tie Out and grasp the end with the Anti Shock spring. Slide back the Sure Lock and position the fastener over one of the holes.

5. Locking

Press down firmly until the fastener clicks closed and then move the Slide Lock up to prevent accidental opening of the fastener.

6. Checking

If you have the FidoGuard Duo then repeat steps 4 and 5. Grasp the Tie Out firmly and give it a reasonable tug to confirm a solid hold, the FidoGuard is now ready for your woofers.

We recommend that the Tie Out is attached to a harness rather than their collar.

Moving on

When you're ready to leave just reverse the process. Give the FidoGuard and Tie Outs a quick wipe over, (no bleaches or solvent based cleaners) dry off and place in it the storage bag ready for the next stop.

...and don't forget, you can use our FidoGuard chew proof Travel Ties to keep your woofers contained whilst travelling.
